THIEME S.A.S. was founded in May 1990 for the exclusive sales of products produced by THIEME, Teningen.

Peripheral printing products and the :M-Press are also now being distributed. Complete customer service within the branch location handles all of France's needs.

All Polyurethane (PUR) parts are designed and implemented in house.

THIEME Corporation was founded in 1995 after the purchase of Alfra America (previous distributor of THIEME printing systems).
Today the sector printing systems has at its disposal a new modern 500 m² (5000 sqft.) showroom for production demonstrations as well as expanded spare parts inventory. The national sales effort within the US is complemented by several regional sales agencies.

In 1997, THIEME in St Charles, IL created their own production facility out of necessity for supplying large automotive customers and component suppliers within North America. Due to the high concentration of the American automotive industry in the upper Midwest, a sales agency was created in Detroit, Michigan for the specific support of the automotive markets. Today, production and sales have expanded to 3000 m² (30,000 sqft.), and employs 34 people within the organization.

In 2003, sales and marketing of Custom-RIM products has been started in addition to the already existing manufacturing and sales of energy-absorbing (EA) impact countermeasures for the automotive industry.

In January 2000 THIEME founded THIEME KPX Ltd. in cooperation with the previous English sales agency Kippax.

THIEME KPX Ltd. is responsible for the sale of flatbed-screen printing machines, the :M-Press and peripheral items as well as customer-service in Great Britain and Ireland.

In Great Britain, THIEME KPX Ltd. services customers for automotive and Custom-RIM applications since April 2002. The activities are not limited to sales and markteting only, but include the entire program management for polyurethane parts or assembled systems.
